José is an award-winning music director, vocal coach, arranger and accompanist who has worked and/or performed with Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jason Robert Brown, Mary-Mitchell Campbell, and many others.
He is also the Artistic Director and Conductor for Força Choir, the Boston-based multi-faceted vocal ensemble that has performed live and recorded for numerous global video game titles including Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts, Ace Combat 3D and many more.
As a vocalist, he has had the privilege of singing under the batons of Maestros Seiji Ozawa, Keith Lockhart, John Oliver, John Williams, Rafael Frübeck de Burgos and many more as a soloist and member of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus along with The Boston Symphony & Pops Orchestras here in the US as well as in Europe. He has also been a featured performer as a vocalist and/or pianist for numerous benefit concerts, fundraising galas and special in-concert events. His music directing credits include multiple award-winning productions with several regional theatre companies and educational institutions throughout the greater Boston area.

José is sought after as arranger and collaborator working with artists from the worlds of Broadway, cabaret, classical and contemporary music including Renée Elise Goldsberry, Darius de Haas and Steve and Deb Emery, among others. He has also written more than 40 original arrangements for academic ensembles ranging from middle school to college levels.
In demand by vocal students of all ages, academic and professional theater productions, and some of Broadway's brightest stars, José is equally at home working one-on-one with a student preparing for their school musical auditions as he is accompanying and vocal coaching for masterclasses alongside Tony Award-winning artists. His unique ability to synthesize vocal pedagogy with the pure joy of making music helps singers of all levels fully realize their potential and unlock new perspectives and possibilities.
José has served as conductor for both live performances and recording sessions with his professional ensemble, Força Choir. He has also been the keyboard/conductor for countless productions with regional theatre companies and educational institutions throughout New England.

José is the artistic director, conductor, lyricist and vocal arranger for Força Choir, a multi-dimensional ensemble that is the choral/vocal arm of SoundtRec Boston alongside the Video Game Orchestra. They have had the honor of performing with some of the video game and film industries' foremost luminaries including Yoko Shimamura and Alan Silvestri, among others. Through these collaborations, Força has performed in sold-out concerts at Boston's prestigious Symphony Hall and also recorded for some of the biggest titles in the video game industry including Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts and many more titles.
