vocal coach
At its core, my teaching philosophy is to first and foremost meet the student where they are on their musical and personal journey and help advance them from there. We'll combine a focus on sound vocal technique along with several practical considerations including:
*how to create and organize your repertoire book
*how to understand and utilize various performance/audition techniques
*how to break down and rebuild a song lyrically, musically and dramatically
We'll also cover the basics of "the business" at every level from academic to professional. Once we meet to discuss your background, interests and personal and professional goals, we will collaborate on a plan to move you forward on your journey and help you achieve those goals.
